A forestry graduate and a lover of the great outdoors, Rich Pauli discovered financial planning entirely by accident – or rather, it found him. He was recruited into the business by an industry veteran who happened to be a fellow alumnus of the forestry school. Rich recalls resisting the career at first, but with a young family to care for, he began taking the necessary exams to become a licensed financial services professional.
Pauli Financial Group offers a wide range of services, including risk management, financial and retirement planning. Rich particularly enjoys working with people and helping them plan for the future. “Working with medical and dental professionals for an extended period of time has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face,” says Rich. He points out that helping his clients requires engaging them in an educational process. “Many people have an adverse reaction to financial services, but the fact is that once they realize how our offerings can provide independence, dignity and a legacy after a life changing event, they become advocates themselves.”
Outside of work, Rich remains passionate about nature and tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible. He enjoys kayaking, biking, camping and hiking with his wife, Rhonda. They also love to travel and visit their children and grandchildren whenever possible.
Rich earned a degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. He has also obtained the designations of CHARTERED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT (ChFC®) through The American College of Financial Services.
